Meet our Founder: Clarice Smart
Clarice is a certified End-of-Life Doula with more than 20 years of experience in public health, healthcare coordination, medical advocacy, emergency preparedness, and community education.
She is also an experienced public presenter who has spent many years speaking to audiences of varied sizes and backgrounds. Her work includes in-person education, community presentations, professional training, facilitated discussions, and Zoom programs for geographically diverse audiences.
Clarice knows how to make complicated, emotionally difficult material understandable without making it cold or overwhelming. She helps clients and audiences identify immediate priorities, prepare for difficult conversations, organize essential information, and leave with practical next steps.
Her approach is compassionate, direct, nonjudgmental, culturally aware, and tailored to each person’s circumstances, family or chosen-family structure, values, and goals.
